For the water tank, we use a 2mm thick sheet of stainless steel in the X5CrNi18-10 alloy. It has a capacity of approximately 100l. The water is dispensed to the substrate via capillary action using 12 glass fibre wicks with a 10mm diameter. This way, the watering intervals are spaced further apart. The tank can be filled using a polyethylene (PE) tube with a 50mm diameter.
