Soft shell, hard core. Modern, high-performance materials make it possible to produce this extremely stable piece of furniture with great attention to detail. The 8 mm-thin yet extremely resistant laminate appears to hover over the steel construction. Both materials are connected by means of a top-strength polyurethane adhesive. This soft, flowing form opens up to the beholder, in an extremely inviting gesture. The distinctive sweep of the side pieces creates an exciting arch between the seat and the back rest, reminiscent of a cradle. Hence its Italian name, la culla = the cradle.
